I attended the University of California, Santa Barbara for my undergraduate degree in psychology and earned a masters degree in clinical psychology at Antioch University,
One of the things I pride myself on is my multicultural background that has made me particularly attuned to issues of human diversity which is of particular importance in Long Beach and the surrounding areas.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at California State University of Long Beach and my Masters in Counseling at University of Phoenix. I completed my internship at several non-profit agencies in the community providing therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I am certified in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
as well as Managing and Adapting Practices (MAP).
My main focus is to create a safe, private, and comfortable space for anyone working with me as we embark on your journey to happiness together.
Hello! My name is Evian Mustafa and I am an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (#105265). I'm working under Anita Castle's license until I complete my hours for licensure.
I attended California State University of Fullerton for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and my Master's degree in Counseling.
For over two years, I have worked at county contracted clinics treating children, transitional-aged youth, adults, and their families struggling with a broad spectrum of mental health concerns in underserved communities, as well as working with a full range of different clients from multiple ethnic backgrounds, socio-economic status, and sexual orientations.
Coming from a culturally diverse background myself, I utilize my own experience to meet each client with uttermost respect, warmth, kindness, and openness.
I am truly passionate about supporting my clients and guiding them to make positive changes in their lives. I would be honored to be a part of your journey!
